This is my wife's Jaguar. I bought it to replace the lovely Volvo C-70 convertible she had that was destroyed by an idiot drunk driver running from the law. Her car was parked in a lot. The drunk lost control of his truck, hit a curb, flew into the air and landed on top of the Volvo. Drove right over it; kept on going. The cops shot his tires out. It was on the news for days. He got two years in the pen for the DUI and evasion, and parole revoked for a burglary conviction. You guessed it: subrogation failed.
So she wanted to try a Jaguar. The engine failed almost immediately, so it was not an auspicious beginning. But the new engine has been in for year now, and issues are all pretty much resolved at this point.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Installing used 2003 model engine to replace original unit which spun crankshaft bearings.
