Purchased this '05 XJ8L to replace our faithful '97 XJ6L with 246k miles and 16 years of great service. My wife took one look at it parked next to the '97 X300 and said the X350 looks like a Buick..... Sigh.....
I agree that our X300 is a beautiful car, low, sleek, and sexy. The X350, not so much. But boy how it drives! I can't imagine what those folks with the superchargers do; this NA 4. burns rubber, leaps forward, handles better, is lighter, more exciting to drive, etc. etc. etc. (and gets great gas mileage while doing it). I'm really happy. And if the wife doesn't like it, she can keep driving her Ford Expedition... :)
