We bought this car back in '97; I was looking for a '96 VP just for the additional leg room introduced in the '96 VP, but then saw this car. It has been the most trouble-free car I have ever owned, and if you look at the cost per mile, very inexpensive. Alas, the lower timing chain tensioner has gone out and I don't have the motivation to do it myself nor want to spend the $3k to have it done locally. So it sits in the garage waiting to be retired. Really hard to let go; it is such a great car.
