Totally restored a ratted-out 1966 Roadster. Restoration included complete suspension, new brakes including upgrades on calipers, new bonnet, new rockers and new door skins. Base coat/clear coat painted a copper color. Interior all new and all black, leather where it is supposed to be and vinyl where it is supposed to be. New Chrome Dayton Wire Wheels with stainless spokes. New black cloth top with correct chrome trim around the back.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Engine is now a 302 tricked out Ford V8 matched to a Cobra (World Class) T-5 transmission. Custom made console to match original as close as possible. No exterior modifications as all. Used an off-the-shelf electric fuel pump mounted just above the spare.
Suspension Modifications:
Series III XJ6 calipers on the rear and competition calipers on front. Coil-over front suspension from JEGS of Calif. to replace torsion bars and allow clearance of V8 including Exhaust headers.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Custom made console to match original as close as possible and allow for the T-5 shifter.
