Purchased it as a one-owner from Moore Jaguar of St. Louis, Mo. Road the train to St. Louis, bought the car and drove it home top down all the way. Have replaced the convertible top completely including head liner and padding. New leather on seats. Do not use in stop-and-go driving except when going through cities. Most trips involve US and State highways, avoiding the Interstate System as much as possible. Lead one segment of Jags Across America from Dallas, Texas to Fredericksburg in this car.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Eliminated the submersible fuel pump due to non availability of it. External pump works well with just a little more noise than the original. Not noticeable with top down which is the way this car is usually driven.
