The yellowish stuff is sprayed on grease that a previous owner used in a possible attempt to loosen up a sticky throttle??

I've seen the question in different places concerning heater problems; where are the electric water pump and water valve? Here's a clear view with the previous components removed...

I stuffed some rags into the open intake to keep debris out. The screwdriver is a stubby phillips put in the coolant hose to keep it from leaking while the TB is off.

The Throttle Position Sensor sits on the bottom of the TB as mounted in the vehicle. It got a bit oil covered and grimey, so I took it off for cleaning too. The screws are on the fragile side! (brass?) My torx bit stripped the head on removing and I had to finish getting them out with vise grips.

The Throttle Position Sensor cleaned up. It's glued shut and ohmed out nice and smooth through its entire range of movement, so I left it at that.

Cleaners used...the Brake Cleaner was only for the exterior of the TB to get the previously sprayed on grease off.
