Surprisingly the fog light is still hanging by it's wires inside the fender. I JUST replaced that headlight a few months ago too.

This one is just plain ugly. But, still just sheet metal.

It's ugly, but it's 90% cosmetic. I see a lot of exercises in patience in my future. Thankfully someone invented the Porta Power...

The hood and fender can be saved, the damage is minimal, even on the inside of the fender.

I think I can save the bumper cover. I have years of experience (in my old life) of plastics and fiberglass repair.

Though the pictures don't reflect it, the damage is not extensive. It didn't even reach the antennae mast.

Note the side bumper, it went under the guard rail. Thank god someone invented the porta-power. This is 98% sheet metal damage. The other 2% are the light, trunk key area and the bumper cover.

My plan of attack- I will use 1/2 inch plywood or foam board to create a template of the body contour at every second or third vertical line and make a jig to hold them upright.

I'll then take the templates, flip them 180 degrees on the vertical while swapping them on the horizontal to create a mirror image of the driver side contour. Then I'll take the porta-power and slowly push out the damage until I get (hopefully) within 1/64 to 1/32 of an inch of the templates. Lot's of pushing, lots of hammer/dolly tapping in my future.

After I removed the headlight I discovered that this will be relatively easy. The porta-power will do 99% of the work.

The gap looks larger at the scrape because the fender is down a little at that point.

The gap grows vertically near the damage, but that's ok, the hood closes now. I'll worry about the vertical later as it's not as large as it seems, it's where I'm standing.

Getting there! The next step is to remove all of the paint down to bare metal, and use heat to shrink the metal back to it's original contour.

This is with minimal effort with a pair of pliers. I continued until the pipe wouldn't break.

This is with the engine covers off. Everything is visible. You'll need a small mirror to see the bottom bolts for the tube though.
