Supposedly the bottom side of the projector is the flat end, however, I found out that this doesn't mean it will be correctly aimed.

You don't need to grind down too much material. Just a little bit so that the threaded shaft can fit snugly on the plastic bulb holder.

Use a Dremel with a carbide bur to increase the diameter of the reflector's bulb holder hole. DO NOT grind the reflector part of the bulb holder hole.

I find it's best to either pull on the left or right side of the reflector first. Trying to pull both at the same time is a wasted effort.

Bottom screw. A magnetic screwdriver will make your life much easier on reassembly. You could also used tape or some super glue to hold the screw driver in place.

First pull the blue clip by lifting from one side, the rest will come out. Then lift the two large tabs to unlock the connector.

The T-10 bulb holder twists off clockwise. This is a good time to replace the bulb with an LED.

This picture has the LED Projector high beam and the Reflector LED high beam both on. You can clearly tell where the projector which I was holding haphazardly is aimed at.

Low beams after the projector bowls were flipped. I am pleased with the light output and hotspot of the passenger side HID. Driver's side is ok, but is less bright than the driver's side.

Picture was taken with the camera's manual mode, adjusting the exposure to what I see with my eyes.

High beams + low beams on after flipping the projector bowls. Notice the driver's side high beam (intact reflector) has a much brighter hotspot than the passenger side high beam which is barely noticeable.

Driver's side reflector bowl: The arrow points to a dull area. When reinstalling, I flipped this so that the light being projected to the road is from the non-burnt reflective end.

Passenger side projector bowl:The arrow points towards the burnt out area. I think someone might have used a 55 Watt HID bulb in the past. When reinstalling, I flipped this so that the light being projected to the road is from the non-burnt reflective end.

Projector part number sticker from Valeo. Hopefully this could helps us source replacements.

This is the Low beam Projector assembly taken out of the headlight assembly. It seems it is feasible to swap this entire assembly for a Bi-Xenon 2.5 inch projector but wiring modifications would be required. This is not something I seek to do.

Notice the dust on the projector lens. I wiped this off. Also, you can clearly see the reflector is dull.
