One side is a sparkly paint look and one side is bare aluminum. I went for the brushed aluminum look and scuffed up the bare aluminum knowing it would get scratched anyways.

Sensor screwed in. Just line up the 4 tabs and gently apply even pressure and it will pop in nicely.
