The angled area to the right where the prefilter sits isn't as wide as I thought so I need to rethink that mount.

This is how the capstan sits with no spindle and shows how the spring pushes the capstan over. The only thing that stops this is the spindle - but that means that the bushing (can be seen in the centre) wears on one side - in fact the spindle ends up not being vertical.

The depth is to accomodate a standard ceramic bearing. This takes the torsional stresses imparted by the return spring and worn pivot bush

These are the Mk 2 coil packs - note no special ridge on the plug towers, they're also smaller. The others are on the car so I can't do a side by side but I will take a side by side when I pull the Mk1's
