Camera was fed forward to this position so I could see and illuminate the area and it helped me to attach the long socket on the bolts.

The hood latch has 2 - 8 MM bolts you'll need to remove.

This is the camera with lights on the end. It was very helpful when trying to do this. It gave me eyes under the hood.
