These all look **** in my opinion. I'd like to see a matte grey one.

Union Jack and the Stars and Stripes are cool, the rest suck.

Same thinking. That first one is a travesty. The matte black one with the nice interactive slider shows exactly why I dislike matte black, it looks like an unfinished paint job with just primer. Always has, always will.

The only color, or wrap, I'd like to see somebody do an F-Type in is a yellow, since it's not a color offered by Jaguar.

My 911 was Speed Yellow, and I really liked that color. Not all cars look good in a yellow, and I'm curious if the F-Type would. I think it would, but never know until seen in person.

A wrap would be the closest to finding out. But, it would have to be a non-flat/matte finish. Those flat or matte finishes do nothing for me.

EDIT: Wow, seek and ye shall find. I started searching for yellow F-Types and found a thread on this board about somebody who painted one:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...r-coupe-120045

I like the car in yellow, at least from that angle (I'd like to see the rear also) but just not in that matte finish. I don't get the current fashion of matte finishes - to each his own, I guess.

Our F-Types totally stand on their own without any embellishments or additions of any kind. In whatever color or configuration it has loads of, I would suggest tasteful, "look at me now" qualities and any of those wraps simply magnify that to levels I personally have ZERO interest in.

Of course and with everything else, to each his/her own. The only opinion which really matters is your own.

They all suck IMHO. I could see maybe a nod to a Castrol themed wrap as they were prominent sponsors of Jaguars. Also a Group 44 theme might work as well.

Honestly, I think our wraps look better than any of those. Those are all over the top and extremely distasteful. On another note, how would the Tron design look on our car??? I've been contemplating that for my next wrap job. :0

Just out of curiosity, how much does something like that gold wrapping cost? And I assume the body color going into something like that doesn't matter?

I will say they are all interesting (and that doesn't mean I like any of them) although I have no interest whatsoever.

Default wrap thoughts

A good wrap is around $3,400. I've seen the Tron wrap in person and it looks good on cars with sharp angles and lines. I think the flowing lines on our cars would be problematic. I'd have them do a rendering first (agree our wrapped cars look better than most of these though I did like the satin black, and didn't hate the gold or the flag). My wrap was $4,200 but that is because it was dual layer making it look more like paint.

Here's a gloss yellow one...

Here's a shot of the rear, the original image is gone so I could only get a tiny thumbnail.

Yellow works surprisingly well on the F-type. I wonder why Jaguar doesn't include a shade as an official color.

Agree, the yellow is sharp. I'm not a fan of yellow but with the black accents it looks really nice.

Thanks for posting those additional photos of the yellow F-Type!

It definitely looks good in yellow, including the rear view. Jaguar should think about offering that color.
