Dynamic Launch
I remember a while ago some thread on here discussing whether or not there is a Launch Control mode. My manual states clear as day that the car has one. I'm still breaking in for quite a while so it will be a while before I can give er' a go.
I'll try it once and then never again I'nm sure...lol...Well, assuming it is actually there and functioning...Seems to be a lot of debate about whether it actually exists. I could never get a straight answer on that.

Correct! Technically called "Launch Control." You won't have it on a V8 or V6 MT. The general suspicion is that the V8 has too much torque to allow it.
(You might want to add your model/year to your signature for when answers depend on the details .)

I had a 4-pot loaner which had launch control too, so not just V6 models. Definitely not present on my MY18 V8 R, but "just floor it" seems to do the trick nicely. And there's a section in my handbook that describes it, so the handbook clearly includes all possibilities for all models.
I only tried it a couple of times in my V6S a couple of years ago and forgot about the feature since then. It's a bit cool and probably helps if you really want to be quick off the line in an RWD car but I doubt it would add much value in an AWD car.
Likely true, and yes, unless you’re 16 I would think the feature would be forgotten pretty quick ;-0
It’s a pretty simple system compared to others I’ve seen, nothing to worry about if you don’t have it.
Dynamic Launch
Dynamic Launch enhances vehicle acceleration and
automatic gear changes. The system uses driver brake
and throttle inputs to detect a ‘launch’ situation and
adjusts gear shifts accordingly.
During normal automatic gear changes, the engine’s
power and torque are reduced slightly to match the
engine speed to the transmission speed, which deliv-
ers a very refined shift.
In Dynamic Launch the engine’s torque is not low-
ered during the gear change. This delivers maximum
through-gear vehicle acceleration, through 1st and
2nd and then through 3rd and 4th gear changes. This
allows the car to accelerate more quickly than when in
‘conventional’ Sport Mode.
Because the torque is not lowered during the process,
the driver also feels a slight ‘boost’ in acceleration as
the transmission and engine speeds are matched, trad-
ing refinement for ‘sportiness’.

I have it and have never used it....just seems too hard on the car. And, agree with the above thought that with AWD probably not much gain. I find the car is best in the 20mph to say 65 or 75mph sort of stuff...it is a rocket...passing in this thing, for the street, is amazing. Sure, a 911 turbo is faster, but this keeps me grinning all over the place...
