Default 2006 JAG s type 3.0 w/sport pkg TIRES&rims

I am redoing my jaguar s type in big way after someone hit and run me. The factory tires are 235-50-17 and I'm upgrading to 20 inch Lexani rims do I go 245/35r20 or 245/30r20 for the new tires? Does anyone know the offset or ET for my car the lexani rims are +40 and I've seen +55 or +60 for my vehicle. Do I jus get spacers? Help!

the correct off set is dictated buy the width of the rim .
so you need to know the rim width before you choose your off set .

have a read of this thread , it will help .

And I think there is good fitment info on Tire Rack's website for wheel/tire combinations appropriate for your car.
