Yes cabin heater etc is working perfectly, Sensor has been changed twice already

Sensor has been changed 3 times now, dash gauge is giving the correct reading as i have had the OBD2 plugged in giving the temperature reading , as already mentioned i suspect the sensor Loom or the ECU

If I understand correctly - thermostat is working properly and gauge reading agrees with sensor report to ECU. Were it me I'd live with the nuisance until some other idea appears. I might check wiring from sensor to ECU but would not replace ECU itself as that'd be quite dear methinks.

wat it means is the engine will be over fueling as it thinks engine isn't up to temp
