Default TCM--code 1799

Got the dreaded transmission fault light and had a code p1799 along with some misc. climate codes, and 3 abs wheel sensor codes--look slike the CAN system took a dump? Anyways I took the tcm out to see if it got wet and it was dry --took it apart and so no obvious burn signs on the board. This was Friday--cleared the codes and drove all weekend and now happened again...

Can a used TCM with the correct suffix (mine is a -BG) be swapped out or does it still need to be flashed at jaguar...

Thanks

David

Ok got home and scanned:

B1676 ABS fuse
P1637 Can/abs/ecm
P1799
P1508

climate
B1239
B1262
B1263

I checked F3 in bay and F96 in dash--ok
I took the grounds off and cleaned them from the abs module (near headlight)
Battery is new(5 months) AGM 12.8v car off, but 15.14 car running
I have new pos and neg Jaguar cables to battery

I'm thinking alternator charging too high and causing these codes?

Can't see it being alternator, especially at 15.xx volts.

1--a used TCM with correct suffix will work
2--a P1637 code was fixed (so far) with a new (reman) ABS module
3--a new alternator hasn't had any battery voltage out of range codes
