Jaguar XJ40 4.0 Head bolts torque specs.
Hello! I changed my head gasket today, and when i was about to tighten the head bolts i realised that the new bolts didnt come with any torque specs. And as i need the car for work tomorrow, and the company i bought it from is closed, i was hoping that someone here might have the accurate torque specs?
Thanks in advance

According to the Haynes manual,
60 NM, or 44 Ft lbs, for 1st step, then additional 90 degrees for second step, then tighten cylinder head to timing cover bolts. cylinder head bolt tightening sequence, I hope you have. I will try to explain this.
Looking at motor from front, you have left side and right side, Seven Cylinder head bolts on each side. On left side starting from front, the sequence numbers will be 13, 7, 5, 2, 4, 10, 12 the right side will be from the front, 11, 9, 3, 1, 6, 8, 14. Hopefully someone can post a diagram of this for you quickly.

I may have an oil leak from my head gasket. Havent found the leak quite yet but it is a likely suspect as it is slow and drips on stuff that makes it burn and smell.
How much trouble was it to do the gasket? Seems like a fairly easy but time consuming task. How many hours of direct labor was put into it?
