Default Tie rod measurement anyone?

Anyone care to measure the amount of thread exposed on their tie rods so I can ballpark my toe?

Thanks all

On my 96, it was either 11 or 13 revolutions, I can't recall.

Split the difference?

Lol thanks, I'll back mine off and compare with your numbers, maybe take an average of the lot.

Here's mine, 1/2" on the left and 3/4" on the right.

To ballpark toe, run a string line tied to jack stands down the side through the centre of the wheel and measure from string to wheel lip front and back

All of my jack stands are under my MG

I know I can do better than counting threads, but I just wanted to make some adjustment before throwing new tires on. The toe ate my last set, my car has always pulled to the left, and the wheel isn't centered.

I bought this set off eBay for $80, I like them over others because they take the measurement off the wheel not the tire, I've used them on my TR6, XJS, XJR and sons suspension rebuild on his e46. Well worth the $ and really come in handy.
