wire and plug on the AC compressor
I scoured the forum for help but couldn't find any relevant posts. My 99 XK8 has a Denso AC compressor with a 6 inch pig tail and a 2 prong plug on the end. This wire comes out of the bottom of the compressor. I've been cleaning the area extensively trying to find a leak from power steering pump. I came across the plug lying on the frame. I initially thought i may have unplugged it and on inspecting the plug it is damaged and would not stay plugged in without help from a ziptie adding to the thought that i may have unplugged it.I cant find anywhere to plug it within reach of the wire. I can only assume that the wire is for another application. Any suggestions? Does anyone have this wire on there AC? AC seem to be working fine. thanks in advance for the moral support.

Thanks anyway
Maybe someone also has a Denso compressor with a wire on the bottom. Just need to know that I didn't unplug it while cleaning I'd like to snip it if not needed.

I recently replaced my A/C unit but I am not sure what you are looking for. As for the wiring I attached a link for your 99xk8

Did it look like this?
This is the wire exiting the bottom side of the compressor they are six inches long with plug lying on frame (out of shot). Ac ran fine today. I suspect them to be Dummy's for a different application. Do you recall these wires? Thanks for your time and consideration.
