This LEGO Jaguar XJR-9 Is All Sorts of Awesome!

In case you’ve been living under a rock, 2016 has been the year that all of the coolest auto-enthusiast inspired building sets have hit the store shelves. Sadly, this stunning Jaguar XJR-9 isn’t quite there yet.

The purple and white Jaguar XJR-9 race car is one of the most popular endurance racers from the ’80s and ’90s, so you can understand why a very talented LEGO aficionado took it upon himself to build a detailed replica out of generic LEGO pieces. The level of detail on this tiny Jaguar is staggering, especially the moving parts in the V12 engine.

This year we’ve seen a stunning Ferrari F40 LEGO set, as well as a Ford Raptor, Mustang, and even a Porsche set. We’ve also seen a Ducati kit by Meccano. If you’re an auto-enthusiast man-child, these are exciting times.
