I hear you Llama on the chrome, but that window trim is way expensive, and I'm not sure removing it to repaint it would go so well.
I was thinking more along the lines of having someone wrap it instead of replacing parts. It'll be going in for paint protection film before long which should be a good time to knock them both out.
It's winter outside now, and I had a look at some of the pics from a trip over the mountains to the Norwegian west coast in the F-type half a year ago. It makes me look so much forward to spring:
This pic was taken a few days ago of our "everyday car" - with my back towards the garage door where the F-type is tucked away for the winter:
It's definitely a dark metallic red. With the clouds, the barn and a beige Subaru just out of frame it color looks much brighter here. Eventually I'll get some better pictures.
The snow's about to fly and it's still got P-Zeros on it so that'll have to wait a bit.
I'm actually very happy that I did not put my car in storage or drove it to Portugal. The weather is very warm for winter and we only had some snow two weeks ago. Since then it has rained a lot so the salt has washed away and I just made a spin with it.
This weekend I'll drive some more and maybe next week : the forecast stays above zero...
Thanks Paul, terrific photo. You apparently reside in two of my favored places, from my singular visits to each. Do you go back and forth with the seasons? I want to take my bride to Corpus this year, I imagine it's become far more touristy in recent decades...
