I would like to know if there is any solution out there for the navigation upgrade. i have on 06 STR, would like to know If its at all possible to do a complete after market audio setup that will work with the climate control on these cars. I would like to be able to play MP3 and add an after market taste to my cars audio system.

 

To install a new head unit completely, you'll probably need to run new wires to all your speakers because of the D2B connections. You already have the alpine nav unit? I'm not sure if the '06 differs from the apline package in my '03, but from what I've read on the forums before it can be a lot of work.

As for the climate controls, I doubt any other head unit is going to support the controls.
