disengage the system so that back sensors will work? It seems like if one goes out the whole system is down. I would like my back sensors to work if possible. Has anyone tried to over-ride the system? thanks, Sue

Interesting idea. I assume the parking sensor control box in the trunk has a connector plug for the rears, and a separate connector plug for the fronts. So simply pull off the front connector plug and see?
