Adding Amp, Tapping 12 Speaker Premium System

Adding Amp, Tapping 12 Speaker Premium System
Gentlemen, I'd like to add some of my audio equipment from a previous install, right now it's gathering dust in the garage. I'll most likely go with an AudioControl LC8I unit to do a speaker to line level conversion.
Are there any other known good options besides the LC8I?
As there are only 8 inputs, but 12 speakers, I was confused as to how to tap them to ensure I got a full-range sum from the LC8I (which I will then split back up again via amps and crossovers). Luckily, as I searched around, I found the wiring diagram for the 12 speaker system and it looks as though there are 8 outputs, with 4 of them splitting out to the tweeters as follows:
1. L-Rear Tweeter / L-Rear Mid-bass
2. L-Front Mid-bass
3. L-Front Tweeter / L-Front Mid-range
4. L-Subwoofer
5. R-Subwoofer
6. R-Front Tweeter / R-Front Mid-range
7. R-Front Mid-bass
8. R-Rear Tweeter / R-Rear Mid-bass
Has anyone had one of these apart and can confirm this configuration?
I'm guessing that there is a small capacitor used as a 'bass-blocker' crossover somewhere on the tweeter lines, correct?
I will likely need to add a similar capacitor on the Mid-range speakers in the dash as they will probably sound terrible with my amp crossed to allow mid-bass to play through the door speakers.
Just want to make sure I'm on the right track here.
