Hello everyone, I don't know much about audio systems for cars but I'm looking for a Deck for about 80-180$ but I'm not sure what will fit in my VDP stock deck. Also, does anyone recommend a certain type of brand or know any specific speakers they had that sound great? I'm a newbie to sound equipment. I just want some clear high sound with a little thump. Please help!

 

Good luck. I don't know what year and model you have but it could get expensive. My 95 VDP stereo was DOA when I bought the car. I had a Kenwood satelite radio put in. One problem was that the face of the console where the radio went was curved. The tech had to take the plate off the old Jaguar radio and alter it to fit the new stereo. My cost was about $600.00, about half of which was labor. So if you can do the job yourself you should be able to save some cash. I had to replace two speakers also.
