Anybody have installed dension gateway 500 in x type? Had any problems with this?

 

Pls need help. Does anyone knows the Dension gateway 500 4 pin power plug pins location? Lost the plug and can`t get replacement.

 

Hi vsxtype, did you install the gateway 500 in your x-type? I too am looking for methods to connect an iPod. I have the premium stereo with amp in the boot, but not sure what model it is.

 

The Gateway 500 is made in two versions: one for Jaguar's and Mercedes' D2B optical interface and a more common one for many other manufacturers' Alpine MOST interface. The D2B version is packaged and marketed by Jaguar as the Audio Connectivity Module. I've written about that here http://www.jimrothe.com/jaguar/acm-bluetooth/acm.html. Thanks for reply. I did try to install gatway 500 but it was unsuccsesfull. When i press CDC button it goes stright to radio. Tried to upgrade software - still nothing.

 

did you ever get it working?
