Default Homemade optical loop harness

I managed to successfully fabricate an optical "loop" harness. It's a female D2B plug with an optical cable that allows the signal to pass without an active component.

It's useful if you want to disconnect a component from the optical bus, but don't want to mess with the existing optical cables. Or if, god forbid, you are tracing a problem with the optical system.

I can make them fairly cheap ($5), send me a PM if you need one.

The black one is OEM, the orange one is mine.

Default Female Connector

I'm installing the voice and phone bluetooth modules and have acquired a 4 way optical loop harness, all with male connectors. The existing loom plugs straight into the CD changer, so is also a male connector. I'm guessing that I need to replace the first connector in the loop to female, or make a straight through connection. Would the female connector in your homemade harness do the trick?

I absolutely need one of these and cannot find one anywhere. We need to bypass the CD Changer in the boot as I destroyed it in my ignorance of how the fiber optic system worked. Let me know if you are still offering or have any idea where I can purchase one. Hours of searching the internet and no luck.
