ok so im having no luck at tracking down these wires for my nav unit to work again since the rats done managed to get in car and chew up the wires, so heres my ? does anyone know what i would need to convert the nav unit in the dash to clock, oil instrument panel, is there some kind of wiring harness i need to get or will it just plug in and work. thanks for looking and have a great day

 

For an XK8 or XKR, you need to add a special add-on harness which I have recently started making:

Navigation to 3-Gauge Conversion - TheJagWrangler

You of course also need the wood and the gauges. This is MUCH easier and less expensive than getting entire new dashboard wiring harness, because the nav. and gauge harnesses are different.
