Hello all, alex here from chicago, I have a 1998 jaguar xj8, base model. And whilst I was away for work purposes, my sisters and cousins managed to blow out,pop, about 2 of the factory speakers on my car. So now I must replace them. First off I would like to know what the speaker sizes are as far as the four door speakers as well as the tweeters. Next on my list of questions, is what kind of speakers (brand) is recommended for my 1998 XJ8.
Since I'm going to replace them
I would like to use some after
market speakers. I ask this
because I want it to sound a bit
louder with a better quality bass, with out having to put in a sub-woofer; for as my car doesn't have one. And before you ask o will be replacing all of the interior speakers. Since I want them louder, without burning up the stock head unit, will I be requiring to install an amp as well?
