1998 XJ8, my subwoofer is missing, any ideas on where to find a new one, or replacement?

 

You talking about the rear deck one? I think you have to go OEM. I just looked into replacing mine - aside from the rear deck being a PITA to get out, the gas tank securing strap is right below the 6x9 and the cut-out in the rear deck metal is VERY small for reasons I can't figure out. All in all, it's probably EASIER to get an aftermarket sub in the trunk.

 

if you want to give me some measurements of the area you want to install it in, i can have a custom sub made for you. While it may not necessarily be the cheapest route, it can be done. I will need the mounting hole diameter, mounting depth, some pics in high resolution while making the measurements will help out immensly. Oh and let me know the impedence.
