Default No Sound, 2006 S-Type

Hello,
I purchased my 2006 S-Type 4.2 with the radio not workin and now trying to trouble shoot the issue. Appears to work without any sound.......

The schematic shows a fibe optic loop, in series.

I have checked and replaced all the fuses in question, still have the same issue. I did notice the Multidisc CD Changer in the trunk seems to be bad (I hope otherwise I have a wiring issue). The Fuse checked good, but still replaced with a new good fuse. It has no power, cannot eject cd carrier and there is no light on the eject button.

Now here is the question, if it is bad, can I just bypass the Multidisc CD Changer to complete the fiber-optic loop.

I can live without the multidisc cd changer, but cannot live without sound.

Thanks for the help,
Brian Shaw

Default Fiber Optic Loop

Ok, So yes you can by pass the cd changer.
Took appart the fiber connections and reconnected them to bypass the cd changer unit.

Now I do have sound, "Excellent" !!!!!!!!

Now I need to find out if the isssue is with the CD Changer or the wiring to the CD player.
