I have a 2000 S type. I am putting in an aftermarket head unit.

The OEM unit has four receptacles in the back of it and there are 4 x harnesses coming out of the car that plug into the unit.

The wiring harness I was told would work (by a member here in the S type section) seems to have only two rectangular plugs that will fit on the factory harnesses coming out of the car.

Has anyone used this harness adapter? Can anyone give me any guidance before I waste my time and money? Thanks
