If it helps, I have a note from Mum!

I have lurked for many months, only occasionally popping my head above the horizon.
Then I see great posts from Guru Grant, long time forgiving Maaate . . . and I get all excited again.
Great to see JF alive and well. I think new threads have reached double figures for the year and we aren't yet into September!

Armed stupidly with such new-found enthuasiasms, I go out and buy yet another magnet-on-a-stick. No more will I suffer the agony of dropping a nut or bolt that never reaches the floor under a Jaguar. I now have a couple of these rare earth jobbies that masquerade as a pocket pen but, with a flourish that Zorro would be proud of, extends into a metre long epee that can remotely withdraw tooth fillings if mis-handled!

Coupled with advancing age, retreating memory, and health that my GP notes as "still walking corpse" I'll aim to share what I remember and disown what I can't. If my off-beat humour offends, then shout me down (I'm totally deaf in one ear; nearly shot in the other; so I won't hear you anyway).

Anyway, it's great to shamble by. As more and more bits fall off, and hair that used to be up there now grows from orifices everywhere, I can't promise to be a constant contributor. I'm more yer Happy Wanderer!
