Welcome to the forum Mike good to have you on board. When you get a chance a quick introduction in the NEW MEMBER AREA is important as you will be welcomed and assisted to the right section which in your case should be the XJ XJ8 (X308) 1997-2003 section. This section will assist you with all your vehicle enquiries . Your Region will be the Australia Victoria/Tasmania section. Once again welcome and enjoy!

Default Welcome Mike

Hey Mike,

Welcome aboard. The 'puter I got has occasjhjkbal dyslexia, but we get by. You must be aiming for some sort of award mate . . .
  • patience?
  • perseverance?
  • persistence?
  • self denial?
I commend you for hanging out for over 70 years before spoiling yourself with one of Jaguar's ultimate saloon successes. I trust this past 2 weeks introduction to your Jag is just a prelude for the enjoyment she'll bring you.

Best wishes,
Ken

Hi, guys, I am Geoff new here and from Newcastle NSW. I just bought a 2013 XF 2.2 DT at the start of the month from Queensland the first second-hand car since I was 21 and now 65 lol I have never owned a diesel before and so far enjoying this car and its motor. I detailed the car just after purchase as the switches and buttons were sticky, that was fixed with some lemon juice and a microfiber cloth, changed the Air filter and cabin pollen filters this week also had the brakes and motor checked thank god all is fine as the car was a one owner and serviced though Brisbane Jaguar dealerships with all records and history. It has 104,000 klms. on the clock, I also bought a set of near-new used F Type wheels for it and put them on today along with painting the callipers and hubs. In addition to the rest, I got the A/C serviced and needed a new Air conditioning compressor., the dealers I bought the car from had no issues with paying for a brand new one so now the A/C is nice and cold.

Thanks, Jim have done that at the same time I posted this. Just wanted to make sure all basis were covered lol. Nice to be a member of an Australian forum that is active and used by its members. I have been a member of the Indian Motorcycle forums and the BMW K1600 forum and none of the Australia sides use the forums let alone many members to them. This looks to be a great forum with lots of info that is related to Australians. I am looking forward to contributing and learning more about the XF.
