Default 4868 WK

Hi,

I just arrived in Brisbane form the UK and have a soft spot for Jags, owning one and a half of them (all of a 1996 XJS and half a 1965 OTS E). I was turning onto Kingsford Smith Drive the other day when I saw what looked like a Lindner Nocker low Drag E-type - photo attached. Possibly the most beautiful e-type ever made. Anyone know anymore about this car? I know that CMC in Bridgnorth have done a couple of recreations (I saw one of them in progress), is this one of those? Regardless, it brightened my day...

Sam

Is that turning onto Kingsford-Smith with the BP on the left? I have been working in that area for the past 26 years.
I do believe I have seen the same car, lots of nice rides get around that area with Ascot & Hamilton nearby.

This car has been getting lots of attention lately! I know the son of the bloke who owns it, the build was documented on another (private) forum, they wanted to keep the publicity to a minimum until it was finished as I understand it...

Clarke - that's exactly where it was, just by the BP.

Cambo - thank you for the article - super interesting to know how it came to be. Such a beautiful machine - one of a kind.
