Default Actually,I'm not that new to British cars

Just put up an album of my previous vehicles up. And realized I'm not that new to British cars. Never took a count before but the XJ6 is my 9th. Didn't count $60 cars from the 80's as actually owning a British car. Take a peek at the album.
Cheers, Clarke

Clarke,

I thought that was a green band windscreen in your car but couldn't be sure from the original photo you posted.

This one from your garage shows it more clearly.

Many years ago I managed a safety glass manufacturing plant producing OE and replacement vehicle windscreens. We were being pushed to fulfill an order from Australia for blue band screens, didn't have them in stock so I sent green band instead.

They duly arrived and the importer got back to tell me green band wasn't allowed in Australia - only blue band! An expensive mistake on my part and one I've never forgotten.

Presumably green band screens are now legal in Australia?

Hi Graham,
Pretty sure it is a green band, My Jeep and Mazda have green band too so it must be legal,Jeep is 95' and mazda is 2007. Screen in Jag is has been resealed so prob not original.
Never would have noticed green or blue before!
It's dark outside , I will have a look tomorrow and get back to you.

Clarke
