Previously we had narrowed down the dates to avoid Mothers Day, Easter and any school Holidays. If we skip over all those dates it takes us to May. Not all members may be able to make it but just to add options:

Alternate Dates: May 13th/14th, May 20th/21st, May 27th/28th.....I'm out for June....and then we have the 2nd half of the year....

Alternate Location: Glenn Innes, Urella, Armidale?...possiblities are endless really...

 

Lets keep it in the first half of the year if we can, nothing on the boil between now and then. (unless we can do Kingston Park gokarts in Feb for a bit of fun).

I work on the basis that 1) she puts up with a lot in coping with your Jag addiction; 2) she's gotta be so better lookin' than you or I . . . and 3) as I've already warned you, it takes ages for names to get implanted into the few grey cells I have that aren't already committed to -

• tuning multiple SU carbies on Jag saloons, XKs and E-Types;
• ideal road & race cam follower clearances on Jag XK and V12 engines;
• . . . and all the other really hyper critical issues in life.

One stipulation for me though....and I guess a personal challenge:

The Blue Goose is currently off the road. I have to make a new Fuel Injector Harness, repair my CTS cable and upgrade my ECU (16-CU) when I am home next (have parts coming).....then get back to the original fault of her playing up under low idle when warm, if the previously menionted upgrades don't fix her up.

Back up plan: Hitch a ride in one of those lovely 5 seater XJ Saloon's that grace our club....so either way we should be there!

This is looking & sounding like a fun weekend. Michelle & I are looking forward to it. Our only concern is it may clash with a race meeting date as we are going back to full time drag racing next season & the calendar hasn't been released yet. That aside we are keen as mustard.
