Hi all, just getting in early since we are on the organising committee for next year! (all JF members are welcome to attend the ABD meetings, just PM me if you are interested)

We may have a spot near the entrance to show our Jaguars, not on the back oval with the "other" Jag guys

Quote: Looks like you all still had a good day despite the "turf" war.

Quote: Hi all

Thanks must go to Clarke for organizing the day, it was definitely a great day and to finally put a face & car to the names.

As for the turf war we were parked in their allocated place but in the past this has not been a problem. But we had Lepers Corner so we were happy.
Quote: I have a 8 x 4 sheet of ply which I think I will get a large sign painted " Leper's Corner " for next year or would that be a little inappropriate !!!.
Quote: I think we could mount it on the unofficial JF beer tent I will bring along again.
Or is the beer tent inappropriate as well?

I think Neil's(Kove) car at front centre would be perfect,

Note I never really received from ABD!
Quote:
I would hate to see you have more than the other Jag group, LOL.
I would like to see at least 15 to 20 cars pull in behind Neil's MKiv, and it's not like we haven't go time to plan ahead!
I will be PM all known Qld & Northern NSW members numerous times between now and September.

I look forward to s super JF turnout.

Counting Down
41 Days to ABD – Brisbane 2015.

Time to sign up and join us for a great day out.

We have five starters so far, I have requested parking for 10 at the moment. If we get more I can change that easily.

40 Days to ABD – Brisbane 2015.

Hi Doug,
Paul (paulyling) and James (34by151) will be coming down that way. They are going to head to my place, 10 minutes from the venue then roll on from there.
Gates open at 7am, we want all cars in and parked by 8am if possible.

Quote:
A new requirement this year is that clubs with 15 or less cars attending will have to have their own marshal to direct their club vehicles into their allocated area.

Marshals are to wear High Visibility vests supplied by their club and preferably with club name on vest for members to identify them.
All the timing can be worked out closer to the day, If I end up being the vested marshal I will have to be there just before 7am.

For those who attended last year it is looking at this stage of parking planning we have the same strip of grass we had last year.

Then there were 8
Make that 9.

1. o1xjr (Clarke)
2. Kove (Neil)
3. ozxj (Doug A)
4. paulyling (Paul)
5. champir (Rob)
6.34by151 (James)
7.Supa Steve (Steve)
8.henry crun (Bruce)
9.stephen.travers1 (Steve)

Hi Bruce, meeting at my place is fine. But we may have sewer and water mains being replaced in our street by then(so no on street parking). If that is the case we will meet at the Jindalee Mcdonalds, about 2 minutes from me.
We can work out all the finer details closer to the day.

Supa Steve, I will pm you some details later on today.

Yay another XJS!

I drive a cobolt blue XJS. Shes from 85 though.

Yeah the last car park by the exit at the BP is good. Will get back 2 you with a time a bit later.

I have no E toll fitted to my car so usually exit off the Bruce Hwy around Bald Hills exit then cut across Brendale and through Old Northen Rd all the way through to Toowoong cemetry and then onto the western fwy to Jindalee

That time on a Sunday the tunnels won't save you $10 worth of time anyway. The Legacy way tunnel saves about 3 minutes when there is no traffic, peak hour is a different story.
