Does anyone need parts?
I have maybe impulse bought a Series 1 1969 xj6
the description says "has some rust, two bonnets, original motor (may not run)"
Thats all i know.
I dont really know why i asked/ offered. i might need a windscreen, but everything else of mine works. I might keep some bits as spares?
anyone need or want anything? if so it would help me make up my mind about getting it. I can post aus/ world wide

Probably too much if you only need the windscreen. Looks in pretty bad shape.
I have seen better looking cars for 1/2 that or less. Really comes down to what value you will get out of stripping what you need.
Maybe if the fuel tanks are good or other hard to get bits are ok it would be worth a couple of hundred. I see complete IRS for sale for 300-1000 often, but don't know what they actually sell for.

If it's just windscreen you need this has one, might be able to get it cheaper than the list price.

Saw Darcy last week, picked up a bunch of stuff for $50 including complete original power window switches and wiring harness. Besides whats listed there isnt much left. The car is out in the open and he was reluctant to let go of the windscreen justyet. I'll go back next week and see how hes going.

I looked at the jag, every panel was dinted, rusted or both. I didnt take it but hopefully he passes my number onto the guy who bought it for $300 so i can salvage some bits. Had chrome guage surround that i wanted.
