MY1995 BRG XJR for sale in Boonah
Hello everyone,
This car is not mine, nor do I have anything more tangible than these pics. Belongs to my builder's best mate in Boonah, west of Beaudesert, QLD. He is keen to sell. Price is negotiable for genuine purchaser. Sorry . . . don't yet have details of price . . . nor whether the custom plates go with car. If I were a QLD buyer, I would insist on this.
Given that my builder has just finished building my new 6 car garage and workshops . . . and drooling all over my Jags . . . all I have is my builder's assurance that, like my XK8 and S-Type, this XJR is in mint condition and painted the highly desirable British Racing Green.
Having spent a year or more trying to find such a model, I gave up, bought the SIII XJ6 and XJ-S instead . . . so I no longer have the money to be tempted. Nor do I have spare room in new garage! In any event, it would be a tragedy to see an interstate sale forego those custom plates!
If interested, post here or PM me . . . by which time I should have price, details, contact name and phone number.
Cheers,

Ken
Thumbnail pics are all previewing upside down, but clicking on each shows full frame correctly oriented. Hmmmm?

OK . . . I give up . . . have asked MODS to investigate and correct why images are inverted on JF posts irrespective of how I orientate the originals.
Cheers,

Ken

Thanks Clarke for rescuing the pics . . .
Great explanation mate . . .
So, you maroons not only snaffle the very best of our Jags, but you've confirmed what I was dreading . . . that, viewed from north of the border, all the rest of us in Oz are upside down!
Great! That's just great . . .
Cheers mate (and thanks again),

Ken,
Presumably you used a phone for the photos?
When taking pictures with a phone, there's an attribute stored so the phone displays the subsequent image in the correct orientation.
Other software doesn't recognise this attribute so the image can appear portrait instead of landscape or inverted.
Easy to rotate with e.g. Windows Paint.

A mate scored a very tidy 94 XJ Sport for $1300! He only bought it for the wheels, but then realised that the car was too nice to part out, & it's now his daily driver. So your mate's car would need to be cheap to compete against that.
