Hey all, just thanking you all for your interesting posts. Very informative when on the hunt for an XK8 and I now know what to look for!

Any particular issues that pertain to the 2004 model apart from what has been mentioned with XK8s in general such as tensioners, thermostat housing and water pump vanes, timing chains, coolant reservoir, cooling cap on tank, ABS light, manifold leaks???

Also just a plug for our favourite mechanics! We have a great new service centre at Alderley in Brisbane (Monaco Motors) with mechanics from the original Grieves team and also Brian Turner who are excellent in maintaining your Jag!

(Hope this is allowed in the forum)
