I'm leaning towards this !
"Stray Cats" is my favorite band.

I love the Stray Cats, managed to see them in Zürich a few years back, great show.

About the plate, if you like it, get it!

Saw Stray Cats twice, once in Surfers Paradise supporting Barnsy in 1989, and in Auckland 1987 Supported by the Angels. Best on the bill both times.
As for the plate, got to convince the other 1/2 it is an Investment
No one does rockabilly like them!

Are personalised plates low cost in Qld?

They can be hugely expensive (£thousands) in the UK.

$445(AUD) for this combo, I think it's hugely expensive. Then again, I hate topping up my kids Transit cards because its too expensive(tight is my second middle name after long winded). If they are both going the same way I drive them because its cheaper.

$445AUD = £248 so still a lot more expensive than in the US where they can get any available number for $30 or $40USD

These 'top 3' from the UK show how much people here are prepared to pay:

That's $788,000AUD paid for F1

My wife just reminded me what I usually say about personalised plates, I guess everything is a negotiation.

Graham, the cheapest of them is worth a lot more than my house.

My initials with number 1 isn't available.

That makes emigration to Queensland out of the question.

Default 867 TMZ it will remain

I followed the process from choosing characters(as seen above) in the $445 option of plates, came up "stra cat" available, continue, yes, yes, yes, checkout, pay now......
$3295 WTF?
Turns out the space between words costs you an extra $2850. Makes it an 8 character plate ?
Wouldn't wan't it without the space. So a space costs you $2850, I'll stick with 867 TMZ .It cost me $26 with the space included.

I don't know what made the PO paint it red underneath,it will be black next time those bits come off.

I didn't notice the Free Masons logo on the right rear bumper over rider until I put this pic on PC

Yes there have been XJR's in 2001...

I know a guy in QLD with a 1999 XJR, doesn't help you though...

Default Ggg 111

Graham, I spotted a plate yesterday at my local parts store(and I don't frequent that place)lol
"GGG 999" on a Hyundai Sonata(don't they say the Sonata is the Korean equivilant to Jaguar)

I thought you must have migrated, then I saw his "Need For Speed" tatoo on his forearm and thought....Maybe it's not our GGG.

Nice, they do get a lot more expensive when you start putting spaces in.

Driving a Hyundai!

I wouldn't be seen dead outside the Tattoo Parlour in one of those.
