Wanted: X300
My good mate Charlie drove my XJ40 to All British Day whilst I drove my MG. He saw the light and immediately became a Jaguar convert.
He is looking to buy an X300 that has been well cared for and with low mileage. If anyone knows of anything for sale in SE Queensland that isn't already listed on carsales.com, please send me a PM.
Cheers,
Stu

Just a point low mileage doesn’t mean the car is right
These cars are now 20 years old and a car thats very low mileage will have problems of its own that will only come to light with usage
I have owned a XJR6 and it had a full service history with a very reputable privateer in cremorne Sydney needles to say I still spent 20,000 dollars on the car over seven years to get it right
Rubber components are only good for ten years
Since buying my full service history X350 I have spent 5 grand on it its trouble free oops sort of trouble free got a back window problem at the moment
Owning older cars is not a cheap exercise as many will attest to but its the owning of a jaguar that is in itself a rewarding experience and meeting like minded people is great
I have owned many older luxury cars and none have given me the fun of ownership like the Jaguars and still do
I am also looking at buying a older one for a plaything but I have no reservations and wholly expect to spend money on it immediately even if the previous owner says its the best one in town
all I can say is be open minded look at any local specialists they will know if a car is for sale and will not sully there reputation for someone to make a sale or profit
