Default Hi everyone

Hi to everyone.

I live on the Mornington Peninsula and have bought a 1977 XJ12.

It has sat for a fair while, but it is very straight and will no doubt be a nice challenge to restore it.

I’m also into old triumph bikes.

im definitely going to be needing the services of a good jag mechanic, so if anyone has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it.

Cheers Steve.

Hi Steve

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a great purchase, there are a couple of very experienced V12 hands on the XJ6 S1-3 forum.

There is a recommendations thread in this VIC TAS area if you want to look through it. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...ommend-123174/

On your side of town Mike Roddy in Moorabbin has a good rep with a couple of guys in my local club.

I use Jaguar and British Prestige Service (ex Graham Ratcliff Motors) further up Eastlink in Ringwood. I've been very happy with them doing all the harder stuff I am not tooled up or skilled up enough to do.

Hope to see your car over on the XJ6 Forum https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...s-i-ii-iii-16/
