Default New XJ6 Series 3 Owner

Dream realised yesterday when I bought my childhood dream car - an XJ6 Sovereign (1985 build) in Sage Green. I've joined the Jaguar Owners Club WA as well. The car is immaculate and engine is a peach, but can anyone tell me how much a typical service interval at Roadbed costs and if they are worth the money? I see a mechanic in Belmont has been praised highly here also, so I guess i'm putting the feelers out for when its annual service is due ...

I don't know from personnel experience or what pricing is like, but a have been around a couple of discussions about Roadbend and nothing but good things were mentioned.

Used Jaguars Perth-Genuine Jaguar Parts _Jaguar Servicing_Jaguar Accessories_Roadbend Motors: Perth Western Australia

Your best source of local info would be the Jaguar Owners Club you have just joined.

Hi David

Welcome to the Forum.

Roadbend are the largest independent Jag specialist in town. Other specialists include, Wilf Chambers in Osborne Park and Frank Fonte (FMJ automotive) in Bentley. All have good reputations.

For myself I've been going to Wilf for almost 10 years with my Landrovers and more recently the XJ12. He can be a man of few words but charges reasonably and I've been happy with his work and advice.

Cheers

Steve
