Hi, newbie here, would love to connect with other Jag owners in the area as I'm at the beginning of my project. I do not think I will be able to do the coffee run in advance but am planning to register as it will likely be better parking at a minimum.

I am planning to be there too. I am not sure if 30 minutes is enough time for me to figure out what to order at a Starbucks, but I can probably handle it

I was going to make a joke that there MUST be a Timmy's almost next door and thought to check Google street maps first.

Sure enough, there's one kitty corner..............

Hope everyone has a great time, don't forget to take pics and post them here!

I'm going to have to pass on this one as Mrs Rjag doesn't do early morning as in the 0600 we'd have to be up and out the door but later if we have a get together for just us Jags at a better time of day, pls still count me in.

Great meet and cruise over to Bronte Creek Park for British Car Day 2013!

Thank you to everyone who shown and represented this early on a Sunday morning!!!

Once we arrived and parked at the show, I proceeded to quick detail and wipe down the jag and set up shop, thanks to JimC64 for the promotional materials helping represent jaguarforums.com

The view from my distant outpost at the show, 1,000+ cars in attendance,

Sorry my coverage of BCD 2013 doesn't extend much past glamour shots of my STR!

It was a real pleasure meeting many of our current members, a few managed to autograph the banner too!

Thank you again to everyone who attended the pre-meet at Starbucks in the morning! Look forward to seeing you at future events!

Thanks GT42R.....some great pics and the banner flying high too, all good.

Did we get a final listing of who all attended?

It'd be great to hear who all made it and also who managed to add their name to the banner for posterity.......Hopefully some others that attended may chime in with other pics too.

Looks like you had a decent day for it too....excellent!
Thanks so much for sharing...

I had a blast meeting some forum members, avoiding loose stones on the 403, and looking at all the shiny cars. I had to get up a 5:00 to make it to the starbucks at 7:45. Nothing like watching the sun rise while listening to Bonnie Rait. I made the mistake of sitting in a E-type, now I must resist the urge to pursue that option.

GT42R, my bad but it was my first car meet ever and noticed your cover but didn't actually venture over as I followed a couple of my parked neighbors around (row MM) Too bad, but next time I will look a little better and know what to do.

Hey Alfred I know that car I think. It was rebuilt from fire in the engine And dash board.
It is a manual series lll car with the dealers badge still just under the rear door.
(Never refer to an e-type as a hatchback)
You see, they are taking care of the car for me for a while until such time that I add it to our collection.
So you needn't worry that e type can't lead you astray...lol at least not that far....I mean how bad could it be really? Lol again...

Unfortunately I cannot claim this was my first show at Bronti as I have attended the last thirteen of them. However I can claim the same as you that although I saw the blue tent I did not venture in that direction. I did however manage to meet up with Mr Just V-12 nd his lovely wife but seemed to have missed everybody else. Well there is always next year, that is if I have not sold my car by then.

Surprise of all surprises was that my car was placed first in its class. What surprised me the most was that I was not even parked in the right designation. My XJ8 was right in the middle of the XK8 section. My really good buddy came second, first time I have ever placed above his gorgeous car.

Hey Bob, I saw you getting your plaque. Nice one!
Proves you don't have to have a perfect series lll to win prizes.

I can tell you I was in shock getting anything.... Anyway did you see that my old #31 Black cherry series III was there. It has been fully repaired by Mike O'Brien and his pals from the Ottawa Jaguar club and this was its first outing. Not sure if it scored or not. If not this would be the first time that it has not won the class.
