Default Canadian members - New section

Hi to all Canadian members out there.......

I was contacted by Richard ( Translator ) regarding setting up a section specifically for Canadian members. This has been requested as simply put, we seem to be over run with Canadians on the site just recently....lol

It makes sense basically, so this is your new home.......Any Canadians, please feel free to post here until your hearts content.

In the menatime we will be busy working in the background to get all relevant posts moved over from the old combined section for you.

Thanks..

That's been really cool though........They have been a great bunch of folks to be lumped in with.
I will probably stay lumped in with them and I would also like to invite them to be lumped in with us.
We all seem to have a lot in common no matter what side of the line we drive.
It would be good to encourage some of them to come and experience some of our wonderful highways, byways and spectacular sights to behold.

Can't argue with that, the PNW/SW Canadian section is one of the more socially active sections, thanks in no short measure to Clevername's efforts.

Hi guys, check out the post about the regional coordinator. I am offering to step down because I feel an eastern coordinator would work better for this forum, And I don't feel I have the time to properly put the effort into this. As mentioned above the Southwest Canadians are well represented by Clevername.
Any takers?

Welcome Peter! And Happy Canada Day while we're at it. I'm from BC so I can't help you too much. I buy my stuff from various vendors and get it shipped to my US mailbox, since I am so close to the border.
I'd suggest you start a new thread in the Canadian section and one of our many Ontario members will hep you out.

Any takers for RC position to help get this section going?

I feel this has the potential to be one of the busiest regions somehow.

Any meets / events coming up in the near future?

Jim, when I stepped down as RC, I fully expected someone from Ontario to step up right away. Sorry!
The Toronto area seems pretty active and hopefully someone around there will step up.
I'm in Toronto on business right now but since it is a 4 1/2 hour flight from home, I can't help organize any meets here.

Rob, absolutely no problem at all whatsoever mate......you've done what you could and thats it.

We all have lives to live, work, family etc so some have more time than others to give to the site.

Still really appreciate your input buddy.

Thanks

Thumbs up New to Forum

I've recently acquired my 2002 XJ8 Sport and loving every minute. This is my first ever Jaguar. Happy to have found the Jaguar Forum, especially the Canada specific forum. Hope to learn a lot from the site and help out whenever I can. Thanks for getting it all started.

Welcome! Very nice car, and really nice colour, too. There are Alberta members out there, maybe start a new thread saying hi to those members out your way.
