I recently had a run-in with a deer and have done serious damage to my lovely '99 XK8. It broke my headlight on the driver's side and the mounting substructure beneath. It broke the side reflector on the left front quarter panel and actually broke pieces out of the front bumper/nosecone and damaged it as well, I believe the hinge for the hood is OK but the hood is bent as is the quarter panel.

My problem is that I live on a small island just off Vancouver Island and the nearest city (Campbell River) is rather a backwoods place. I have been waiting for a local body shop to source parts to repair my baby for almost two weeks and they don't seem capable of finding what they need to proceed with a repair. Does anyone here have contacts for Canadian parts for my car? The body shop seems unwilling to order from the US. and the provincial insurer seems to want them to keep their costs down. I would like to find contact info for either new parts or a wrecker specializing in Jaguars.

Help!! The summer is fading away and I miss driving my lovely car.

They had a "complete" version of your car which was being sold for parts. At any rate they will ship items, just don't expect the lowest price.
