Hello fellow Canucks!
The lusting is over. I recently retired & picked up a Red 2005 XK8 convertible. I'll post a photo soon, but it will be a before & after pic.
On day 1 my wife & I went out for dinner and parked on the street. Somebody knocked the driver side mirror off! I laughed and said "DAY 1 !!!"
The replacement assembly is on its way so I get to play with tools shortly.
Thanks to all who've posted info & video on similar repairs. I feel I'm an expert already before removing the 1st body panel!
