Why we live in Eastern Canada
This past winter was one for the books, and Spring came late and has been extremely wet. However this past weekend was simply perfect. I pulled out my power tools assorted sundry items to start the porch renovation that I have been putting off due to poor weather. Shortly after my wife informed me we need to run to town as we were having family out for supper and needed a few things. It was such a nice day we decided to take the Jaguar out for a bit of exercise. the temperature had climbed to 25C (77F) so we dropped the top and off we went. The drive along the river was magnificent, winding toward town with hardly another car on the road. In fact it was so perfect we skipped past the grocery and just kept going. 6 hours and 500 km (300+ miles) later we got back home with the groceries just in time to greet our guests. The old XK8 performed perfectly, happily eating up the twisty, vacant highways of rural New Brunswick. The perfect day with the perfect car. This is why we suffer the blizzards of winter, we know our summer is magic.

Funny, the same thing happened to me and my wife, visited a couple of our nephews and just kept going, the jag is working perfect, Sunday the 20th was about 27 c. Really getting use to driving it and will drive it as daily drive until October or November.
